Kristin Jung is a versatile composer born in Maryland. She grew up in South Korea and played an integral role in her high school’s music program by becoming one of the first student composers to produce original soundtracks for school musicals and compose pieces for orchestra and choir to be performed in school’s major ceremonies. Her compositions and arrangements are well inspired by her experience as a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, violin, and oboe in various ensembles.

Soundtracks from Hollywood animations attracted her to the world of music for visual media, and screen scoring expanded her musical style from acoustic to electronic. By joining the Screen Scoring program at NYU, she is looking forward to collaborate with the music industry and inspiring the hearts of the public.
